Springfield Public Schools has an excellent partner in Foundation Credit Union (Springfield, MO). This year, in partnership with HCUCF, the Foundation Credit Union team gave back in big ways to the district that helped launch them. In addition to sponsoring the Celebrate SPS event this spring and donating to scholarships which support classroom projects, they volunteered to make the Back to School Bash events this fall a success. These two events, one for the community and one for teachers, served almost 10,000 people.
Foundation Credit Union volunteered in equipping students and families in the community with resources they needed to have a successful start to the new school year. This included helping with registration, passing out backpacks, and filling bags with food items and passing those out to families in the community. At the employee event they provided bags with supplies and CEO Stephanie Thomas spoke.
HCUCF is proud to support such beautiful partnerships to support education.
