We're here to help credit unions enhance their ability to serve their members and communities. But first, you have to apply for support. 

Who can apply?

1. Staff at HCUA affiliate credit unions may apply.
2. Proposals will not be accepted for programs involving legislative or political activities.

How do you apply?

We are using a new platform for grant and scholarship management called Reviewr. Applications, feedback, edits, and reports will all be done through this platform. For step by step instructions on applying through Reviewr (along with screenshots) please click below.

What can you apply for?

Professional Development Scholarships

(Under $100M in assets)

Scholarships support registration fees for training, seminars, conferences, networking or
other professional development opportunities.

Community Development Grants

(Credit unions of all asset sizes)

These grants are intended to support the unique community development needs of credit unions and their members. Credit unions can apply alone or in partnership with a nonprofit or other organization to deliver these programs or events.

Financial Wellness Grants

(Credit unions of all asset sizes)

This grant opportunity supports financial wellness efforts of credit unions, such as events or education directly for your members or community, launching new programs, tools, or opportunities to promote financial wellness.

Disaster Relief Grants

During occurrences of catastrophic natural disasters, we are prepared to provide financial support to HCUA member credit union employees and their volunteers.
